Celebrating 150 years since the Laying of our Cornerstone
Happy 150th Anniversary of the Laying of our Cornerstone! We celebrated on Sunday, Janurary 29th with a morning Eucharist and an evening Evensong.
St. Paul’s Within the Walls was the first non-Roman Catholic Church built within the Aurelian Walls. What started as an “American church in Rome”, became a multicultural and multilingual community with English/Italian services as well as Spanish. Our ministries have expanded and evolved, including the Joel Nafuma Refugee Center which is going on 41 years of refugee ministry!
We would like to thank all of our Ecumenical guests for attending and participating in our evensong. And of course, we would like to thank all of you who attended!

JNRC Women and Children Update
At the beginning of November, the JNRC opened its Women and Children’s room. Previously, only one woman would enter the JNRC every couple of weeks. Now around 5 women enter per day! It is a safe space for women and children to have their own room and space. There are also sewing and yoga classes available to them!
If you are interested in donating items, there is always a need for rain jackets, diapers, and menstrual pads. If you are interested in donating financially, click on the button below and write “Women and Children” in the memo/note line!
Exciting news! We surpassed our goal of a €50,000 monetary goal! We thank everyone who has contributed to our Live + Give campaign. However, we haven’t reached our goal of 100% participation.
During this season of Epiphany, we want to make sure you participate regardless of how big your gift is. There is still time to fill out your giving estimate. Envelopes are in the church and can be submitted at the back of the church by the Live + Give sign.
