La Traviata
The famous opera by Verdi, complete with costumes and scenery, performed by I Virtuosi dell’Opera di Roma. The opera, set in Paris in the mid-1800s, tells of the impossible love between Violetta, a well-known courtesan, and Alfredo, an attractive young nobleman.
Vivaldi: Four Seasons
Every Monday evening Opera in Roma performs Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons Concerto.' The program will be completed by masterpieces by J.S. Bach for Organ, solo cantatas or the Art of Fugue.
